Dunshaughlin Harvest Festival
26th to 29th September 2013
The Dunshaughlin Harvest Festival is a music, food & craft family festival in Meath. There are food markets & cookery demonstrations, live music, drama in the old courthouse & fun activities for all the family. Heritage trails, genealogy advice and historical tours showcase the rich heritage of the greater Dunshaughlin area. Children love the village games and sports, the petting farm, the science & music workshops and the arts & crafts tent. Other activities include fire-fighter demonstrations, pottery making, basket weaving and wood-turning, as well as scarecrow making and the opportunity to build a go-kart and compete in the Soap Box Darby.
This year festival organisers invite people to join in the quirky village parade or grab a chair and help build on the massive success of the 2012 Musical Chairs event.
